Design Process

Step one: each design starts with really rough sketches.

Step 2: These sketches turn into slightly more refined sketches where I begin to think about placement and composition.

Step 3: This is the pencil drawing of what will become the final background.

Step 4: Inking.

Step 5: For this particular design I wanted to include sketches. This meant cleaning up the sketch and then using a lightbox to ink the areas that I wanted inked.

Step 6: The final step is to scan it into the computer and color it. At this point the pressure is off because the drawing is done. The hardest thing is to make decisions on colors and placement. On this design you can see that I decided to put the mask that is on the ground on it's side so the heads weren't quite so repetitive.

Step 7: Submit to Threadless and cross fingers!

I wore this shirt to visit my 3 year old nephew and he absolutely loved it! We spent an entire day in a closet opening and closing the door. He talked about good ghosts and bad ghosts and surprises at the door. I'm sure if I had been willing to wear the same shirt every day we would have spent the entire week inside the closet!

Thanks for designing it!

I was inclined to post just in case my experience helps or inspires you in some way with your goal to make a children's book. I love your work; best of luck!

Thanks so much Kaylee! I haven't stopped working toward my dream of publishing a children's book. In fact, I have sent out another round of my manuscript and I'm editing a second dummy book to send out soon!

Here are my reasons.though Hogans have stimulated a million dollars imitations, Hogan Sneakers the originals are even now the greatest. For the modern, fashionista in you, take a look at their new wedge heel designs. If they are not water proof, you would need to take an extra step in doing that on your own. What's more, Franklin Marshall Clothes seldom people will be dynamic in cold weather. In order to work as intended, snowhogan must not be allowed to accumulate snow on the tops. From Converse styles to lightweight hogan, D&G glasses plimsoll hogan really have it all this spring.
