The Art Critic

Here is a piece that is far from being finished, yet has come a way since the initial sketch which I did a year or so ago (above). I love the gold frames at museums. I asked Hobby Lobby but they don't carry them.

Realism?

Not everything can be lollipops and goofy cartoons. Sometimes I get the urge to do something a little more realistic. I broke out the oil paints a few days ago and tried to brush up on my figure painting. Done on tinted canvas.
